Ingredients:

  • 2 ½ sticks butter, softened
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 ½ cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 cups oats
  • 1 cup raisins

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Whisk together flour, salt and baking soda; set aside.
  3. Cream butter and sugars together in mixer until fluffy.
  4. Beat in egg and vanilla.
  5. Slowly add dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Stir in oats.
  7. Stir in raisins.
  8. Drop dough on cookie sheet 2 inches apart and bake until bottoms are golden and tops are still moist.
