Ingredients:

  • 2.5 cups of flour (we like King Arthur)
  • 1/2 tsp Kosher salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 sticks unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 3/4 raw sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup old fashion oatmeal uncooked
  • 1 bag of semi sweet or dark chocolate chips

Instructions:

  • Pre heat oven 350
  • Use a stand paddle mixer
  • Mix flour, salt, baking soda
  • Add butter, light brown sugar, raw sugar, vanilla and mix well
  • Mix in eggs slowly one at a time
  • Add oatmeal and mix 1 minute
  • Add chips
  • Spoon large-ish scoops of dough onto baking sheet (we like ours less round and more bulky to keep them soft after baking)
  • Eat cookie dough while you are scooping
  • Bake 10 minutes or until edges browned and middles still look soft
  • Cool on dish towel or rack
